Hi,

I've recently posted this on the Apple forums but no replies so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

I've recently been given an iMac which needs repaired,

It seems certain parts have been stripped from it but want to make sure nothing else is wrong before buying replacements.

When I plug in it, I get the white light in the bottom right corner, fans go quite loud after around 5-10 seconds, and no display, also bad smell but think it could be because the previous owner smoked alot.

When I opened up the iMac, the hard-drive was missing and from what I can tell the hard-drive bay too, along with the ram & cd drive.

If I buy these will the mac work or is there another problem

iMac Details :
20-inch iMac G5 (iSight), 2.1 GHz
MA064xx/A

Also, I've checked the capacitors on the logic board and all looks fine, in fact i'm pretty sure they've been done?

Thanks for any help
