I just purchased my second UE boom. Tomorrow is the last day I can return it to Best Buy and I'm reading issues now with battery replacement or the lack of battery replacement. I love the fact I can now pair my two booms together to get stereo sound but I'm nervous if I just wasted $400 on speakers that will last maybe 2 to 3 years. Is anyone else that owns a UE boom concerned about this?
I thought okay the worst case is I can plug it in once a battery dies and use it that way but that is not the fact either it will not work if the battery does not work.
So do I return the speaker tomorrow and get the Bose soundlink mini? That at least has a replaceable battery which means a lot longer lifespan. I would use the UE boom outside and around the pool and keep the Bose indoors in the kitchen and around the house justify my spending habits
