My neighbor's iPhone 5 won't charge anywhere but in her car using the car charger. She has replaced the charging block & cable, moved to different outlets in the home and nothing has worked. Yesterday the iPhone battery was nearly depleted and she had to start her car to make a phone call. 
Any more ideas before making a Genius appointment & taking it in?
