iPhone Question about future iPhone 6 and jailbreak

If you save your SHSH blobs right now, would you be able to theoretically downgrade to iOS 7 and jailbreak when the new iPhone comes out with iOS 8?

I didn't think the latest device was compatible with old iOS. Like the 5s won't allow iOS 6.

First off it was never possible to downgrade a device to an os that was never built for it, second shsh has never worked on a device they weren't from, and third shsh doesn't work on iOS 7 anymore anyway.
