2014 Macbook Pro: Apps crash when opening

I have this problem on my last two notebooks, I get the apple crash screen when I try to open various applications such as calendar, notes etc. When I restart it fixes the problem for a while and then the problem starts back. Can someone please help me? I have a 13" Macbook pro with 8GB of ram and 512 Solid State HDD. It is starting to get annoying.

This is the Mac Pro forums, however which apple crash screen are you referring to? And solid state hdd doest exist.
