I have an ipad 2 and all of a sudden the screen looks completely different. It looks like all the colors are messed up. For instance blues are in place of normal white, and red is in place of black. See a few lines through the app icons. And my pictures now look like pastel paintings! This seem to happen out of the blue and nearly right after I was using guided access.
It almost looks like an inverted color setting. However, this is turned off in the settings. So, that is not the issue.
I have done a restore from a previous backup and also have updated the software. No help there. I also tried tapping on it on the back 3x and that didn't work either. Yikes!! I don't think it's under warranty anymore also.
Is this a common problem? And any other solutions besides replacing the screen or an out of warranty service?
