This doesn't really answer your question, but if you're worried about faulty memory you can always test it yourself for free.

Yeas the OP realizes that. What he is asking is if the renderings are experiencing issues since it doesn't have ECC memory. Probably trying to determine if he needs to switch to a workstation like the Mac Pro.
OP: I really doubt it. If you are seeing a lot of issues then I would suggest doing a memtest to validate your memory is okay.
