Simpel question really. I use a macMini to render out video in Compressor and sometimes I get bad pixels, like a red one on black. Is this because it's non-ECC memory or something else?

The Mini doesn't support ECC memory.

Yeas the OP realizes that. What he is asking is if the renderings are experiencing issues since it doesn't have ECC memory. Probably trying to determine if he needs to switch to a workstation like the Mac Pro.

OP: I really doubt it. If you are seeing a lot of issues then I would suggest doing a memtest to validate your memory is okay.
