It appears the seller is actually selling a DVI to ADC Display Adapter, which retails at $99. I think this is a very good deal.

As grapes911 stated, I'm not selling just a cable, I'm selling the whole Apple display adapter setup that includes USB, power, and video.

I'm interested, but does anyone know if this will work the same way? Will it be able to power the ADC display? If not, I may buy yours.

This one goes the other way -- converting an ADC video card to a DVI display.

As IJ said, this connects your ADC display to a video card that only has DVI (not ADC) out.

No... this adapter and the one on PC Connection are the same. They are both ADC to DVI, which lets you plug in and ADC monitor to a DVI gfx card. What I want to know is if it will work. I don't think DVI is self powered, but ADC is. Could I plug an Apple Studio Display into this PC Connection adapter, then plug that into my Power Mac and will it work, or will it not have power? (The ADC Studio Displays are self powered by the ADC connection.) Understand what I'm asking now?

Wow, this is more work than I thought it would be.

This adapter and the one you linked to are not exactly the same. What made ADC special from other formats (DVI, VGA, etc.) was that it carried video and power and usb through one cable. Your DVI-ADC connector from PCC only carries the video signal. Your ADC monitor needs power, which the DVI bus (and the adapter from PCC) can't supply. The Apple adapter enables you to plug your ADC monitor into the box, and then connect the box's cables (DVI, USB, power) to their respective connections. So you need this adapter if you want to plug your Studio Display into a DVI video card.

Hope this helps clear things up. If I didn't answer your question, post away.

It's not the same. It allows you to add power and USB while using your DVI connection. ADC included it but DVI doesn't. I made the same mistake.
