Is it possible to transfer files to and from the simulator using itunes? Right now I can save a character file in the app to export. Then connect the ipad to itunes and then select the app which allows me to drag the file to and fromthe app from the computer.

My problem is that my iPad is the 1st generation and limited to ios 5.1. I am trying to test this feature with the simulator under ios 7 but can only do it with the simulator.

I'm pretty sure I can not do this but I thought I would ask.

Thanks.

That is what I thought but it never hurts to ask. Thanks.

Yes.

And you don't even need iTunes to do the drag. Just drag the files directly from the Simulators:
~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/7.0.*/Applications/*/Documents/
directory for your iOS app on your Mac. (replace the *'s with the appropriate iOS version and app ID hash).
