I'm in the market for a scanner for my MacAir with Mavericks. What experience does anyone have with either of those.

My issues with Visoneer is that I have flattop scanner, 10 years old, that I've had issues with and which is no longer supported by them.

I also have a mobile cannon printer which I can't use as it won't feed the blank sheet through.

As a result I leery of both Co.'s but the scanners I'm looking at have good reviews and I need a scanner that won't break the bank.

FWIW, I purchased the Canon P-215. Loved it -- great little device -- BUUUTTT ...

I had multiple failures to feed documents -- like the front of the page was an RCH away from being grabbed by the scanner, but not *quite* being pulled in.

After a week or so of frustration, I returned the P-215 and purchased a Fujitsu iX500 Scansnap -- ~$140 more, but worth every penny. Faster, too.
