Source Filmmaker and iMac 27" 2013

I am on the verge of picking up a new iMac. My original plan was to run Valve's animated software program, Source Filmmaker, in Bootcamp on the upgraded iMac 27" 2013 model with the 780 Nvidia card. But I was also open to using the new Parallels. Anyone have any experience with this setup? Thoughts? Is the performance of SFM acceptably good in parallels?
