I just upgraded from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 5S on at&t. I have noticed my 5S dropping into 4G more often and showing 2-3 less signal strength dots.
I searched google and found that many people on different carriers with the iPhone 5S have this issue and exchanging it has made no difference. I have a co worker who has the exact same issue going from an ip5 to ip5s.
