Here is the situation:
I currently own a 27" ips monitor and a MBP. No mini-dp adapter yet.

I currently do not study so i don't really need portability, and i am saving up for something so i don't have the cash to spend on gear and what not.

I would like to get a full desktop experience out of my 27 inch monitor by using the bluetooth keyboard and apple trackpad with my nice 27" monitor.

I bought this mbp 13" very cheap and for the same price i could 2nd hand get a 2011 mini 6630m WITH keyboard and trackpad. The whole package.

Should i just keep my macbook pro and get a stand, hdmi adapter, keyboard and trackpad?

Or should i just sell it and use the money to get a 2nd hand mini already including these things?
For the price i could sell this for atm, there is a mini with 256gb sad i5 2.5 6630m with trackpad and keyboard.

I won't be studying or needing portability for another 6 months.

What i use my system for:

Movies, movies, browsing, audacity, youtube and just this kind of stuff no heavy work what so ever.

What would u advice me to?

Thanks in advance guys.

Made this post in a rush, so it might be a bit confusing to read so bear with me :)

I think you could make do by getting a keyboard, mouse, and adapter for you current laptop.

Just because you don't travel, doesn't mean you don't want the flexibility to bringing your computer out.

You may have pictures to show a friend at his/her place or you want to watch a movie on your bed before you sleep. These things you can do on your MacBook that you can't with a desktop computer.

Then connect your nice monitor when you need the big screen.
