Bioshock Infinite Resolution Question

Hi, I have a 13" MBP Retina and Bioshock Infinite only lets me go up to 1280x800. I go into the (finder) XUserOptions.inti and change my resolution (X&Y) to the ones I want, and when I launch the game, it automatically goes back to 1280x800... Can anyone help?
