PowerBook 12" with external displays

I've used my PowerBook (12", 867MHz) over the years with an external CRT display running at 1024*768 and it works just great. However now I'm thinking of getting a larger external one (linkety).

As you can see this monitor is a VGA monitor but with a widescreen resolution of 1440*900. I assume that my PB will work with this as it supports external resolutions of up to 1600*1200, but being as this one is widescreen I thought I had better check before buying anything.

Thanks
