Hey guys, just finished the 8 month process of coding this little puppy. It's a platformer that dynamically changes graphics as you play. From 1-bit to 8-bit to 16-bit to HD finally. We wanted to play homage to video game history, so each level starts out like a Gameboy game, and eventually evolved into full HD.
Also the controls were key, because we wanted console controls on iOS devices. Trickiest thing is the lack of a D-Pad, so we invented kinda a fusion plat-former runner hybrid that gives you really precise controls on a touch screen.
