Time Machine logs for when backups start / stop

Hi All,

I'm planning on doing some testing with my FreeNAS build. There a few settings I'd like to test out, but one of the things I need to know is the exact time that an initial Time Machine backup started and stopped. I believe Time Machine writes to the system.log ~ is that data in there? Thanks!
