Hi

First time on the forums. Over the last week my 2010 MacBook Pro 13 inch has been behaving oddly, then today it has completely failed to boot. I have tried safe mode ect and that doesn't work either. Eventually after 2 hours of trying I managed to get a white screen with a persistent error message reporting that "security agent may only be invoked by apple software.". I can't find a helpful response online so can anyone help?

Thanks

Kieran

I don't have an answer to your problem but based on that error message it sounds like you have some kind of malware that's taken control of your MacBook. Maybe someone else will come along that knows more about this. Good luck.

There is no Mac malware. It's something else. Try booting to the recovery partition (cmd-R) and using disk utility to verify your hard drive.
