Lately I have been having trouble connecting to some free Wifi networks from my 2007 MacBook... Am in Japan, and mostly happens at some hotels and happened at an airport, too. The signal shows up as 4 full bars in Finder, but neither Safari or Firefox can display any pages. I tried with LAN cable, the same. Is it maybe my MacBook is too old to be compatible with certain new networks or something? Cuz I can still connect to some provider's networks fine. This never happened before I moved here.
