iphone-5s-deal

RadioShack is planning a new iPhone promotion starting tomorrow that will let new or upgrading users get an iPhone 5s at a significant discount. The 16 GB model of Apple’s latest smartphone will be available for $99, down from the usual price of $199 for all customers on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

Customers who bring in a “eligible” iPhone 4s (which usually just means “in pretty good shape”), will also get a $100 credit towards their iPhone 5s purchase, which knocks the price down to a very manageable $0.

The promotion kicks off tomorrow, April 18th and will be available in physical stores or online. We’re not sure how long the promo will run, but it’s certainly not going to be a permanent price change, so jump on this if you’re looking for a great deal on an iPhone 5s.

How about sell the 4S for $200. and buy the RadioShack 5S for $100. with $100. left over profit?

Win?

The only thing I see going for $200+ on ebay for 4s's are unlocked 4s's.. and most of them don't even have bids on them.

I was scared you might be right as it's been a few days since I checked, but no- they still garner a decent price.
In fact, the very last AT&T iPhone 4S to sell on eBay is this one:
(16GB, black)

You link you posted says the listing has ended.. I can't see anything lol.. what do you mean "very last AT&T iPhone 4s"?.. like last one in production for at&t or something?

I'm a little lazy with eBay and didn't want to pay eBay fees and stuff lol so when I sold my 4s 6 - 12 months ago (forgot how long ago) Gazelle gave me $160.. was good enough for me at the time.

Check the link again.
In fact, the seller had two at that price and BOTH sold for his asking price of $279. plus $10. postage.

(Don't be deceived by all the faulty and/or Sprint 4S's listed on eBay. They're not as desirable.)

Still says listing has ended.. below though it shows what else the seller has and this is one of them: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-iPhon...d=100011&prg=9407&rk=1&rkt=10&sd=121160587938

However I think it's ONLY a "buy it now" thing and not a bid.. and clearly nobody has bought it yet so who knows what these things sell for.. maybe your ones and two's will buy this for $200+ but I think that's too much for them to be selling at personally

no one bought that because it's such a terribly listed item.

- no pics of actual device
- way too much nonsense in the description

i personally stay away from auctions like this because it's just copy/paste and the seller probably doesn't even know what the hell he's selling.

In the eBay ENDED link I provide above if you'll check you will see under quantity available, 0 and next to it quantity sold, 2.

I can't assist you in navigating eBay any better than this.

I'm re-upping with Verizon in early May and upgrading from a 4S to a 5s so I popped in to the local Radio Shack to ask about the $100-off promotion. They were unsure as to how long the promotion will last and the availability of the model I wanted (space gray 32GB), but I gave them my "junk" Gmail for their email program with the promise of "coupons".

I'm not trading in my trusty 4S...I always keep my last phone as a backup...so I didn't inquire about the specifics of that.
