12" iBook

hey everyone I just wanted to let you know I found an awesome deal at the University of Connecticut. They're selling 12" iBooks for $699

1.2GHz
256MB DDR RAM
30GB Hard Drive
12.1 (1024 x 768) display
Combo Drive
ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 w/32MB of DDR SDRAM
AirPort Extreme wireless

I know the MBP (macbook pro) is amazing and all but not all of us can shell out the $$$ for it. If you are interested shoot me a message and I'll get you the link to their school store.

Looks like a good deal, has anyone ever purchased from something like this before?

why not just get a refurb 12" 1.33 at the Apple Store, for $100 more?

It's got better specs.

Or better yet, why not wait to see if Amazon doesn't run another deal where a brand new 12" 1.33 iBook goes for $785 AR - that's $86 more, but you get a brand new latest iteration iBook.
