Just installed the update on my ATV and my receiver is now showing Dolby Digital 5.1 again instead of Stereo for movies that offer it. Cheers!

6.1.1 update seems to have fixed Netflix DD5.1

Sorry, didn't check that. I'll see what I can spot.
EDIT: I only see the HD logo on everything. I'm on the Canadian Netflix though so not sure if the streaming capabilities are the same as the U.S. Still looks fine to me though and I'm just happy to have DD5.1 back. Cheers!

The Super HD logo is also gone from the earlier version of Apple TV software so this has to have been a change on Netflix's end.
Anyone have trouble downloading this? I have a second-gen ATV and it's basically stuck and won't give an estimated time.

Same here. I eventually restarted and tried again, and a message appeared saying it couldn't be downloaded now and to try again later.

Super HD? I saw it before on Netflix, but didn't really understand it's significance. What is Super HD? And how does it differ from the "regular" HD?

Crazy/marketing term that means a higher (relative and not defined) Mbps rate.

Not necessarily. While Super HD is always 1080 (I think but it may do 720 also) "regular" HD can be 1080 too. Super HD has a higher bit rate. Here is an article that explains it.

Update restored surround for me too. I am still on 6.xx on my ipad, and airplay via ATV now has surround again. Yay.

I have a problem with the update. About 50% of the time that my screen saver comes on which is iCloud photostream the ATV crashes. Anyone else having this issue?
