ipconfig /registerdns
Is there an equivalent the the Windows command "ipconfig /registerdns" for Mac OS X?

There's "ifconfig". I don't know if it does exactly what you want?

The OS X commands give you more flexibility than the Windows commands. For example, I have not heard of a mechanism for directly altering the arp table under Windows. If you are looking for a way to dynamically change your DNS settings you might want to look at http://www.novajo.ca/easydns.html |
