Hi to all.
A colleague of mine has trouble with his MBP (13", OSX 10.9.2).
Every page he opens while browsing with safari shows multiple ads (see screenshot attached) that won't go away. I believe they are flash-powered ads. The problem affects only Safari (I tried both Opera and Firefox).
I have already tried both disabling Safari Extensions and restoring Safari, but it didn't help.

I believe all this started when he downloaded a bad torrent (not sure what though, he deleted it).

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much

If it was an app and you know which one it was, try doing a full manual delete of it using this method.

Otherwise, I'd say restore it to a time before the malware using Time Machine or whichever backup software you're using.
