Yes, it can be considered the same. One caveat, sometimes the manufacturer will test the memory and try to match modules so the performance of the 2 modules in a kit is similar. While the specs of individual modules may be the same, there ARE variances, the testing/matching is done in an attempt to match modules with similar variances for best performance.

Is a 2 year warranty worth it on these for 9 dollars?
I've never heard of RAM failure.
