Weeknumbers for iCal

I have (finally) updated all the different language versions of my week numbers iCal calendars. They should work from 2004 through 2016 now. (Is that enough? )

Norsk version
English version
Deutsche Version
Version française

Just click the link of the version you want to subscribe to. (If you already use it a simple refresh should be enough!)

Let me know if there's any errors. Note that all weeks start on Mondays, this is not an error and I'm not going to change it...

questions

Great. But 2 questions:

1 the week number doesn't show up on my iPhone iCal - is that intended?

2 how do I "uninstall' the week numbers if I want to?

thanks

Reg

^^

1. If you subscribe to it, then it won't sync over to the iPhone. If you want it on your iPhone you need to subscribe to it directly from the iPhone or download and add it to an appropriate regular calendar.

2. Assuming you subscribed to it (or added it to an otherwise empty calendar): Mark the Calendar, right-click and choose Delete (or use the menu: Edit -> Delete) to delete the calendar. (If you've added it to a calendar with entries you want to keep, you may search for Week, or whatever it says in your language) and then sort the search result on title and mark all from Week 1 to Week 53 and press the backspace or delete button.)

When I try to remove this, I get the message that I can not alter or delete this item, because i'm subscribed to it!

How can I change that?

Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to delete a calendar item or are you Deleting the calendar from the column on the left using the right-/ctrl-click context menu:

^^ You can download the calendar (right-click the link and choose save as or just option-click the link), then add it to iCal by double-clicking the ics-file. (Just remember to tell it to make a new calendar, rather then adding it to an existing one. That'll make it a bit easier to handle later on.)

Now you'll have a regular calendar in iCal, that should sync over MobileMe without problems.

I really, really hope that Apple puts weeknumbers into iCal soon...I'm beginning to fear I'll have to expand these to beyond 2016...
