Visual Basic Module/Macro works in Windows Excel but not Mac Excel 2011

I have a xlsb file with multiple visual basic modules that pull data from google analytics. The modules work in all windows excel version but results in #VALUE in Mac Excel 2011. It also looks like the Mac program isn't trying to access the URL because the program pauses while pulling the data in windows but instantly fails to pull in OSX. I just bought the macbook pro and am running whatever OSX version came on that.

Thoughts on why it's not working for Mac?

My mistake, the file is xlsm (macro enabled), not xlsb.
