anyone notice that ATI was droped around the same time they stoped making new cards for the mac FIRST then for PeeC's? seems to be a funny ocourence....and it also seems to me that the GF series tends to be cheaper as well anyhow....just a thought, and wondering what anyone else was gonna say....
(personaly, i like ATI....)

nVidia GF4

Well and of course the new PowerMacs are the first to come out shipping with GForce4s... announced even before nVidia announced it.

i am not a hardcore gamer, but why does the gforce 4 bench slower than gforce3 on a pc? is the pc a better gaming machine like some suggest? just curious.

It's a GeForce 4 MX...

"MX" is the name for NVidia's low end (read: crippled) video cards...

The performance of the GeForce 4 MX may fall between GeForce 2 and 3.

I have a GeForce 3 in my 867, I will post comparisons with the 4MX when I get my mits on one of the new systems. Although, you will likely find that information on www.xlr8yourmac.com before I get around to doing it.
