I have a MBP to repair, the user has installed win7 over an existing win7 partition, i have tried reinstalling the OSx but will not boot from USB using the option key. The option key doesnt do anything. It keeps going to a black screen on windows saying No bootable device..

Any Ideas?

Is the USB even bootable? Did you create the bootable USB with DiskMakerX?
