External speakers with eMac?
My sister was given these speakers for free:
It seems they're made for the PowerMac. Is there any trick to get them to work with her eMac? We've tried searching for some help. I'd definitely appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

There certainly is! It is only supposed to work with iMac and Powermac G4s but we got some to work with our PM G5. The problem is that they have an extra ring around them for power, so they need to be powered by the computer, where as your eMac requires self powered speakers.
Solution? Search for a Griffin iFire. It lets you plug it into a regular headphone or speaker port and gets powered by firewire. -That can be out of an unused firewire port, or using an iPod AC adaptor that has the firewire plug on it.
