My wife's iPhone 5 had to be replaced in February. In early April, it was errantly erased. I have restored it to the February save point, but would like to ADD the backup I did this morning before I restored from February. Is this possible?

iTunes backup/restore

If there is no way to use the newer backup to combine what is newer with the older, is there a reliable extractor that is free? Mainly, I want the photos.
