Going by all the graphics related dependancies id say its got something to do with the graphics, does it crash only when your using vmware?

no i don't use VMware at all. Last time was i think 1 year ago. Like i said, it crashes at random moments. Sometimes i can use my macbook for four days without any problems, and sometimes it crashes 3 times in 10 minutes. That is also my frustration;)
But do you think the problem is with VMware?

Hi,

I'm afraid that you have the GT330M issue. I have the same MBP. The NVidia GT330M, in some cases, causes random kernel panics when put under heavy load; sometimes even when just active.

Apple was offering a motherboard replacement program for victims within 3 years of purchase. If you are out of the 3 year window (which you most likely are), your only viable option is to use gfxCardStatus to force the use of the iGPU. That's what I'm doing right now.

Regards
Raptor
