The details about UK iPhone 5:

A1429 iPhone 5 (GSM/LTE 1, 3, 5/International), supports LTE bands 1, 3, and 5, in addition to UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz), and GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz).

A friend told me T-Mobile had the best pre-paid plan, but I don't know whether I can use this phone in US? Does it support 4G-LTE? Or HSPA+? Or only HSPA?

Please help, thank you.:)

You might not get LTE but you should get HSDPA+ no problem.

Edit: oh yeah, and if you are on Three you get free roaming in the US!
