Where can I get Leopard 10.5 for powerbook G4?

Yes, eBay is one of the few legal places where you can still obtain it.

Also try looking or putting a wanted ad, in your local craigslist. How I got mine,and was a great $.

Did you speak to AppleCare? They sometimes sell restore media for Leopard with these older machines.

Personally, I'd just pirate it. It isn't as if Apple even charge for OSs anymore.

I know. You don't live near him so you could not have known. That's ok, no worries. We made a deal. He needed an iPhone that worked so I gave him my 3GS which was doing nothing more than being a media toy for my kids. He gave me some items in return, including that 1.33Ghz iBook G4 that's now in pieces and Leopard.

I got mine of Amazon, expensive though..

Apple will stock certain restore media for PowerPC Macs that is Leopard, despite no PPC Macs shipping with Leopard when new! It is kind of roulette whether they have them or will sell you them for your model.

I'll send you a PATA hard drive with Leopard taken out of my 2005/6 Powerbook (actually the final revision Powerbooks were manufactured through 2006, but the model is really the "October 2005" or "late 2005" model indicator) -- let me know if you want to go that way. Easy enough to install in your P\B or clone it over.
