hey all, a few months ago i bought an iphone 5 on kijiji ,
turns out it was locked via the find my iphone application and there is nothing i can do about it.
he lied about what carrier it is with, and i am hoping maybe somone had unlocked it for some reason, wich i know is probably a false hope.
anyways when starting up after choosing my wifi network the phone asks to insert a proper sim (i put in my telus sim but it says i have to unlock the phone if i want to use it with telus). my question is after choosing wifi would it ask you for a proper sim and then check if its locked via find my iphone? or does it check if its locked via find my iphone first and than check for a proper sim?
