I have a very old screenless laptop connected to a brand new Acer 19" VGA display with a resolution of 1600 x 900.
My problem is that I can use XBMC perfectly with fullscreen video, Barely any lag whatsoever! However, If I use in-browser flash or even VLC video, in fullscreen, there is no hope. The choppiness is hopeless. I was hoping if anyone had a solution or a diagnosis for my problem.

- Intel celeron @ 2.16Ghz (not too sure about the Ghz)
- 1 slot of 512mb and 1 slot of 1024mb/1gb of RAM
- OS's I used with the persisting issue: Windows XP, Linux 15 Olivia, Linux 16 Petra
- Not sure about the graphics card.
