Is it at all possible to organize apps within iTunes itself? I have many older apps which I don't use anymore but I don't want to delete. Though I want to get them out of the way. Note I am not referring to folders in iOS, but rather in iTunes.

Why not just delete them then re download should you ever want to run them?

If there's stuff you want to get rid of in iTunes but not actually delete, you could always head into your iTunes media folder, backup the apps to a different folder, and delete the app links off iTunes. You can drag them back into iTunes if you want them back later.

But there's still no way of organizing them as far as I know. Maybe a playlist? I'd have to check on my own iTunes to see if that works.
