Best Tools for Bachelor Thesis

Hey guys,

I'm about to write my bachelor thesis in a couple weeks and I was wondering if you can recommend productive tools.

I'm still looking for the best text editor. There is Pages, Office, LateX, Google Docs and Open Office stuff. All of them have advantages and disadvantages.

It would also be cool to have a tool to collect all the source materials (books, page, author etc.)

I hope you got some tips for me.
