OS 9 won't boot

I have a sawtooth 400. I have jag and 9 installed on it. Some of my programs dont like to play nice with classic so I need to boot into 9 sometimes. I was doing it today and OS 9 keeps on freeezing at start up. I've tried no extensions and tried booting off of a CD. I also reinstalled OS 9 in classic. It still has the same problem. Does anyone know what to do?

At what point does it freeze? Does it get through some extensions, then freeze up at a specific one?
