I got an Airport Express in a bundle of Mac equipment off of eBay. I did a hard reset, plugged it in, my Mac Mini recognizes it (10.9.3). Connecting to it opens Airport Utility, I am prompted to name the network/device and enter a password. I follow the prompts, and when it starts connecting to the new WiFi network, the connection fails and I'm prompted with the message: "An unexpected error occurred."

At this point the Airport Express no longer appears in my list of WiFi networks. Airport Utility will not recognize it. It only displays the amber light.

I have tried:
-Hard reset (about 20 times now)
-Connected with Ethernet cable and without
-Tried configuring from OS X Snow Leopard laptop AND iPhone
-Tried configuring it by having it connect to my preexisting WiFi (non-Apple) network.
