Seriously hacked off.

Installed my free Mavericks upgrade a few weeks back, and ever since, I'm having a real bitch of a time connecting my bluetooth mouse whenever the batteries go. The mouse is the A1015 and was running like a dream on Snow Leopard. Now it just isn't playing ball.

I've gone through all the usual tasks, trying to connect making sure BT is on then trying to connect though the mouse page in prefs under Set Up Bluetooth Mouse.

Batteries are always good and fresh, and I've tried different sets to be sure. They run for a about a week and a half - two weeks when it finally connects, but it's such a battle, usually involving one or more restarts.

Surely I can't be expected to reboot every time I change the damned batteries?

Anyone got any ideas? Do I need a newer mouse maybe? Or is there a fix?

Cheers.

:(:(:(:(
