Oklahoma house candidate: "We would be totally in the right" to stone gays

Anyone want to guess what party he's running for? No Googling!

http://kfor.com/2014/06/10/oklahoma-...homosexuality/

Quote:
Esk posted some old testament scripture that referred to homosexuality being punished.
Someone asked – “So just to be clear, you think we should execute homosexuals (presumably by stoning)?”
Esk responds – “I think we would be totally in the right to do it. That goes against some parts of libertarianism, I realize, and I’m largely libertarian, but ignoring as a nation things that are worthy of death is very remiss.”
Maybe Oklahoma needs that Sharia law ban after all.....

"…and I'm largely libertarian…"

No … No you are not. I am so tired of folks believing just because they say something, that that action alone automatically makes it true.

and I don't even know where to begin with this nugget…

"...but ignoring as a nation things that are worthy of death is very remiss."

Tools. All of them.

He's from the branch of Libertarians who believe his freedom rights trumps others' rights.

Doesn't sound very libertarian.

And of course "religion" is the single motivation behind this.

http://kfor.com/2014/06/10/oklahoma-...homosexuality/

Esk said, “What I will tell you right now is that was done in the old testament under a law that came directly from God. And in that time, it was totally just, it came directly from God. I have no plans to, you know, reinstitute that in Oklahoma law. I do have some very huge moral misgivings about those kinds of sins.”

Unfortunately his Facebook page is not available right now, I was just going to suggest where he could shove his so called "god"

So he's a "candidate" right? He didn't actually get elected.

Because there ares some pretty nutso candidates running around that never get elected. The hope is that the electorate weeds these dummies out.

That is the hope, but as men like Louie Gohmert prove, sometimes the nuts make it all the way through…

I wonder what would happen, when the case challenging their same-sex marriage ban goes through, when same-sex couples decide to exercise their 1A right to assemble right in front of of the Capitol and get married right in front of him walking out the door.

he is a real quality person he is.
It gives his 10 plank platform. It speaks of his desire to be more like jesus.
It talks about the love of his life and the frivolous divorce, and is desire for reconcilliation because, per his reading, he is not allowed to marry anyone else except remarry her. It discussions laetrile and B17 for cancer treatment and prevention.

askforesk.com/

Apparently he was also arrested a couple of years ago for making death threats against a minister.... but the charges were dropped.

Or, maybe that is what he called it. He did have a restraining order put on him by another man www1.odcr.com/detail?court=026-&casekey=026-PO++1000241
and Esk owed but has not yet paid court costs related to that, from what I can tell

Still looking for his divorce.
A little googling suggests the Tea Party is the more liberal group he's a member of--
