My local BB store was suppose to have them on display for preview by now but that hasn't happened.
Having an iPad, I would just be interested in the larger S tablet. I had the latest retinaMini but returned it in favor of the larger ipad instead. I had the 1st gen Mini and the newer one with the better resolution wasn't doing much for me to tell the truth.

The 10.5 S is technically lighter than ipad air (465g) vs 469g. So it edges out ipad air technically as the lightest full sized tablet!!!.
Way to go! This is the first android tablet to be a serious contender to air. Have to wait for battery life verdict though.

10.5s is probably my next tablet, but I will wait half a year - I hope that samsung will release note with oled display of same size with stylus. Ipad 3 is still running strong, but is starting to annoy me with lags, especially when browsing.
Definitely the 8.4 once the LTE version comes out. Hopefully, I can get it from Samsung/Best Buy instead of through a carrier. Or even better, a GPE version. I'm so tired of being dependent on updates from AT&T. Still waiting on KitKat for my Note 8.0.
The current Note 10.1 has nearly identical specs to the 10.5 S they just released. I have the 10.1 - it has a higher pixel density (same resolution but a slightly smaller screen) and still looks pretty darn good, same amount of RAM, same storage options, higher battery capacity (2x more on my Note 10.1 from what I saw).
I don't understand Samsung not matching Apple in storage when they make their own chips.
Expandable storage is no excuse, because Android limits a lot how much you can put there.
Don't know. Is 32GB enough or do you need more? Some games allow the data to be on SD.

Both Samsung & HTC have allowed moving apps to SD outside of the stock guideline.

I have a 64GB iPad 1. I'm not going to spend big bucks on a tablet with less than 128GB built-in.
The NotePRO 64GB does not have LTE and the top LTE NotePRO has only 32GB (and costs about the same). This means one should not waste their money in either of them.
So, If I were to get a NotePRO today, it would be a 32GB WiFi (as I know from my Z10 that 16GB is only enough for the first couple weeks). But it's too much money for something without cellular. So, I buy nothing. The cellular option seems overpriced.

From early reviews, the Super Amoled displays are stunning with wide viewing angles.

With what specs? As I noted before, in comparing the specs on my 2014 Note 10.1 the only difference I really see is the size of the screen and the screen technology. The 2014 Note 10.1 looks to have the same CPU, same amount of RAM.

Samsung has a Galaxy Tab S line and the Galaxy Note line. Pick one. Unless you're implying they somehow merge the 2.
