Hi Guys,

I got myself here a little problem.

I fixed my old A1226 and now i'm going to sell it, first problem was that I couldn't install Lion because I only had 1GB ram, I upgraded to 2GB, now here is the next problem :

with my current laptop (and the one before) they already had Lion installed, so I never had to purchase it.

I deleted all my files on the A1226 so there's no osx installed. I don't have the installation disk of snow leopard either.

To install lion i have to login with my apple ID, but then I get the error because I never purchased Lion before.

Is my only option to do the purchase ? ( I don"t want my apple ID linked to that computer ... )

I also have a bootable image of lion, that I installed on my drive but I cannot set it up anymore as startupdisk

This really is annoying because I don't have much experience in this all
