Hello,

I have a problem with uninstalling Java and QuickTime Player.

#1 is solved, thanks to this post - https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/18527608/

1) The issue with Java is that, I followed the steps on Java's website (https://www.java.com/en/download/help/mac_uninstall_java.xml) and used the first method. The file is in my trash. But now the icon is stuck in the System Preferences Panel. When I try to remove it, I get the following message...

^What should I do?

2) The problem with QuickTime is - when I go go "New Movie Recording" it gives me this message:

I read that doing a SDM or PRAM reset can fix it OR uninstalling Java, but is that true?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
