As part of a new July promotion, Target is offering Target gift cards with the purchase of any iOS device, including the iPad Air, the Retina iPad mini, the 32 GB iPod touch, and the iPhone 5s/5c.

Customers who purchase a $499 iPad Air or a $399 Retina iPad mini in any storage capacity (WiFi and WiFi + Cellular) will receive a $100 gift card, while those who buy a $249 32 GB iPod touch will receive a $30 gift card.

Target has discounted its 16 GB iPhone 5c to $30 and its 16 GB iPhone 5s to $100, and is also offering a $20 Target gift card on top of the discount.

Target customers can also get an additional five percent off of their purchases when using the Target REDCard. Target's gift card with purchase deal will last through July 12.

The iPod touch should get atleast a $50 gift card since it still costs over $200 but who even buys Apple products at Target anyways?

These iPad’s were worthless (to me at least) the day that they confirmed only 1gig of ram. I don’t care what anybody says; you need more than 1gig in a 2013 flagship tablet. Especially when Apple still demands $400 to $500. Just one of the many reasons why we see $100 gift cards.

I am waiting for the new hardware to be anounce by Apple. If I find nothing worth the upgrade, then I will look to buy something through Target or Best Buy (what will then be the prior version) at deep discount.

I suspect that even wit these discounts many are like me and will wait to see what to do -- but the new shiny toy for a wad or the older less shiny toy for a smaller wad. This is why Apple needs to spread their product releases. Putting everything in the 4th quarter means one huge quarter that slides off for 3 other quarters. Not good in my opinion.

I was tempted to get a rMini but we're to close to the refresh to consider it. Now if they had knocked off $100 instead of offering a GC. I would have bought an rMini for $300.

You still paid to much. You could get a new unlocked LTE Motorola G with sd card support for less. Or you could get the $100 Verizon Motorola G and use it as a media player. When you can get a real phone for less the iPod touch makes no sense.

Not everyone lives by an Apple store, and I also go where the cheapest prices are even if I live 15 minutes from an Apple store.

You could likely flip that gift card for $75-80.

You must be real fun to be around. Why buy Fruity Pebbles when you can save money buying Fruity Dyno-bites.

I'm sure a Sony VAIO ultra portable super thin whatever laptop is also a cheaper alternative, but I will stick to my MacBook Air.

Apple's1GB is much better managed than the other guys RAM anyway. Most Apple devices in the wild still have 512MB and that's what is programmed for by devs.

Not correct, Target been doing this promo on and off since Black Friday, a month after iPad Air release.

And btw, overstock usually get shipped back to the vendor... Apple.
