iOS splitviewcontrollers, navigation controller and yes tab bar controllers

Hi everyone

I was wondering something. Apple doesn't want somebody to put a splitviewcontroller inside a tab bar controller or inside a navigation controller.

But actually I really want to segue way (or tab) into a split view-controller. Is it possible and if not what do you guys do? Is it also a problem for a windows - environment by the way?

UISplitViewControllers are very limited. I suggest ignoring apple's and implementing your own version, or check for the many third party options

Ok so basically the standard class of apple won't work but an analogue system can be programmed?
