Any insight would be greatly appreciated (aka dumb question of the day!)

When you buy songs or movies from iTunes... how do you delete them? I thought I did, and it "hides" them -- but then they pop back in and show up again.

How do you TOTALLY get rid of a song or movie that you no longer want?

Thanks!

You might get better (or some) replies if you edit your post so the subject title indicates your question, perhaps "how to delete iTunes purchases" for example. Most people have a question, that's why they post,so "quick question" doesn't really add anything or more to the point attract the world expert on iTunes who is just reading the question titles :D

Also, how are you deleting ? What do you do? I'm sure I've deleted apps and get a message to the effect of "are you sure as you won't be able to get it back again" but songs or movies might be different though I can't see why. Did you use time machine at some point ?
