Considering iBook 12"... SuperDrive question.
I noticed that on Apple's online store, you can't customize the 12" iBook with a SuperDrive... I seem to remember this option a few months back... can I still do it??

I don't think Apple have ever offered a 12" iBook with a Superdrive as they want you to get the PowerBook which offers this. I could be wrong though...

Yeah the only way to get a 12 inch iBook with a Superdrive is to put it in yourself, sorry.

TechRestore.com
I've got a G4 12" 1.33 iBook. I'm looking at replacing the combo drive with a Superdrive. Techrestore.com has them for $69, if you put them in...
Has anyone else done this? Coachingguy |

I actually changed my order at apple from a 12 to a 14 so I could get the super drive. Maybe a stupid reason to but Id rather have the best ibook I can so I wont have to update any time soon.
