I was also wondering this because I am downloading it now and since I don't have any important data on my internal drive I was considering installing it directly. Does anyone know how FCP X is performing on Yosemite?

I forgot to add, when i installed the Creative Cloud Desktop app on DP1, I was not able to sign in to my account via the app and install anything. The workaround for that is to open Safari, go to Develop > User Agents and change it to Safari 7.1
You'll be able to log into your Creative Cloud account and download apps then, if you run into the same issue as I did.
